OVERVIEW
Visit Aurora’s Aurora Borealis Festival invites retail vendors of all experience levels to participate in the Global Gift Bazaar. This event aims to bring together a diverse array of global artisans and vendors to create a vibrant marketplace that celebrates cultural diversity and craftsmanship. This event delivers an authentically local, world-class experience that is affordable, accessible, and fosters community pride in Aurora, Colorado.

VENDOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Vendor Fee $300
Equipment & Decor Vendors are responsible for providing their own decor to enhance their booth’s visual appeal. Theme: Celebration of Light.
Power Each booth will be provided with basic lighting. If your setup requires additional power for equipment or displays, you must supply your own whisper-quiet generator or indicate your specific need on the application. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but approval is not guaranteed.
Compliance Vendors must comply with all City of Aurora and Adams County Health and safety regulations, including providing the following documents before event day:
Certificate of Insurance (COI) with the following additional remarks, “Visit Aurora and Painted Prairie, their officers, directors, employees, contractors, and volunteers and the City of Aurora and Adams County, its elected and appointed officials, employees, and volunteers, are additional insured.”
EVALUATION CRITERIA
1. Product Diversity and Quality Offer a unique and high-quality selection of goods that reflect global cultures and traditions
2. Presentation Ability to create an inviting and aesthetically pleasing booth
3. Experience Previous participation in similar events and festival
4. Compliance Demonstrated capability to adhere to local regulations and guidelines
We are seeking up to 20 artisans and retail vendors.
Applications Close: Saturday, May 31, 2025
Decision Date: Friday, August 8, 2025
50% ($150) of the vendor fee and copies of necessary licenses will be due upon signing. The remaining 50% ($150) of the vendor fee will be due no later than August 8, 2025.

We will be accepting up to 20 local vendors for the Global Gift Bazaar. Each vendor will be provided with (1) 10’x10’ tent with lighting, (1) table with linen, and (2) folding chairs. Vendors must provide their own whisper-quiet power, if required for booth operations. All vendors must adhere to the County Health Department Guidelines and the City of Aurora Code Enforcement Guidelines.

Vendor must be available for the full schedule. Hours of operation are mandatory and violators may face penalty fees.

Vendors will be assigned one 10’x10’ tent with one 6’ table with linen, 2 folding chairs, and tent lighting within the Gift Bazaar, per organizers’ discretion.

You will be informed of your status no later than July 3, 2025, at which point the 50% ($150) of the vendor fee and copies of necessary licenses will be due. The remaining 50% ($150) will be due no later than August 8, 2025.
*If you are a small business and would like to apply for a vendor fee scholarship, please answer “YES” to the final question in the application and answer all questions that appear. The maximum benefit for a Global Gift Bazaar vendor is 50% ($150) off your fee.
