  • Festival goers are encouraged to bring:

    • Reusable water bottles must be empty upon entry

    • Reusable shopping bag must be empty upon entry

    • Camping chair or blanket please bring only the chair, storage bags are not permitted inside festival grounds Please be advised: chairs should have 4 points of contact with the ground to ensure everyone’s safety.

    • Weather Protection This is an outdoor event, so remember to bring sun protection and appropriate outer layers if precipitation is in the forecast.

    • Bags larger than 5” x 8” x2” half a sheet of paper size Please note all bags are subject to search

    • Outside Food & Drink is prohibited at this event

    • Micromobility vehicles Scooters, skateboards, bicycles, etc. are not permitted inside festival grounds. The exception to this rule are vehicles being used for accessibility needs, strollers for children’s needs, and vehicles being used by festival staff.

    There will be no lockers onsite for personal items, so please leave these items at home.

  • Yes, we strive to make the festival accessible to everyone. There are designated accessible viewing areas, restrooms, and pathways. If specific accommodations are required, please email KristinSutter@visitaurora.com

  • Yes, first aid will be available onsite. Keep your eyes peeled for our 2025 map, coming in August.

  • Safety is our top priority. Security checks will be conducted at all entry points, and our security team will be present throughout festival grounds.

  • Locate the nearest security personnel or festival staff member. Emergency services are available on-site.

  • The Aurora Borealis Festival and all it’s vendors accept all major credit cards. Cash will not be accepted.

  • Children of all ages are welcome, but please leave your furry friends at home.

  • Where can I find a lost item?
    You can find it at Guest Services near the main festival entrance. If your item has not been found yet, we will ask for your contact information so we can return it to you when it is found.

    Please inform Guest Services of any lost items. You will be asked for your contact information so we can return it to you when it is found.

    I found someone else’s lost item. What should I do?
    Turn in any found items to Guest Services, near the main festival entrance. If you are uncomfortable handling the found item or the found items seems suspicious in any way, please alert a member of festival staff, a volunteer, or a member of our security team.

  • What volunteer roles are available?
    We offer a variety of volunteer roles, including event setup, attendee assistance, and activity coordination. Volunteer sign ups begin May 1, 2025.

  • How can I become a vendor?
    To apply as a vendor, please visit our Vendor Application Page and complete the online application form.

    Applications open May 1-31, 2025.

    Food & Retail Vendors must be open for business for the full schedule. Hours of operation are mandatory and violators may face penalty fees unless written permission has been provided by the organizer.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER?

The Aurora Borealis Festival is a rain-or-shine event. For your safety, the festival site may be temporarily cleared in the event of lightning or high winds. In case of severe or inclement weather, please stay alert and follow announcements made on-site and on our official social media channels. Check the local weather forecast and come prepared to ensure a safe and enjoyable festival experience. No refunds of any kind will be provided.
