ARCHITECTS OF AIR

AN IMMERSION OF Color & Light

Get ready to be mesmerized by Architects of Air: Daedalum, an extraordinary fusion of light, color, and sound, taking over the Aurora Borealis Festival at Winged Melody Park in the Aurora Highlands from November 1 to 3, 2024. This massive inflatable sculpture, known as a “luminarium,” spans half the size of a football field and invites guests into a fantastical world. With its vast domes, enchanting tunnels, and captivating pods, this immersive experience beckons explorers of all ages.

Since 1992, over three million people in more than 40 countries across five continents have been awed by Architects of Air’s luminaria, basking in the kaleidoscope of colors created by daylight filtering through the fabric. This summer, Daedalum—one of the many luminaria designed by Architects of Air’s ingenious founder and artistic director, Alan Parkinson—will welcome thousands of visitors, both local residents and tourists, to this unparalleled artistic phenomenon.
